What makes Switzerland so successful and what can Ireland learn from our small country?

In this documentary, I discuss this with Martin Bühler, a member of the PLR/FDP government in Graubünden.

The film was produced by the Irish think tank Polysee. Our success is, among other things: local governance, direct democracy, a culture of consensus, concerted decision-making (which is seen as a political victory for all), independent tax policies for the cantons and – last but not least – decentralisation, while preserving the individual prestige of each major city, region and canton.
